Regional Events
Larger events that bring men from several communities together for a topic of common interest.  These can be theme banquets, luncheons with sport celebrities that have an evangelical message, conferences or seminars.

Examples:
Every Man's Battle For Purity

Leadership:
A man who has a heart for doing Regional Events should gather around him a steering committee to take care of the various logistical tasks. The steering committee should have members from various churches and organizations that represent the region. The steering committee must take on the primary responsibility for promoting, planning and implementing the event.

Venue/Date & Time/Cost:
Early on the steering committee must give the event a name that both identifies with the region and where the event is to be held.  They must estimate the number that will be attending, locate a suitable venue that is available on the preferred date.  The event budget should reflect costs for venue, speakers, food, program, cleanup.  If the event has an outreach component provisions should be made for scholarships.

Logistics:
Setup of the venue by ministry volunteers helps to keep the cost down as well as providing involvement opportunities. Don’t forget to have volunteers assigned to do the tear down and cleanup.

Promotion:
Distribute posters to local churches and businesses that say what the even is, where, when, who should attend, what it costs and who to call for more information.  Other promotional areas include web sites, mass e-mails, post cards, bulletin inserts, church announcements and local radio stations.  Be sure to use more than one form of communication to reach the potential audience.
