Monthly Events |

Events used as a vehicle to invite and expose nonbelievers to Christ. They can be a breakfast, movie night, sports time or any other activity that would attract men.
Examples: Bible Study's & Breakfasts (Pictures of an example event) Leadership: A man who has a heart for doing monthly event should gather around him a steering committee to take care of the various logistical tasks. Venue/Date & Time/Cost: The steering committee can keep the format/program similar from month to month. Variations may be in menu, speaker/topic, location/hosting church. Logistics: Setup of the venue and cooking by the steering committee and volunteers helps to keep the monthly events easy to plan. Don’t forget to have volunteers assigned to do the tear down and cleanup.
Promotion: Most promotion is word of mouth invitations as the event is outreach oriented. Be sure to get in area church bulletins and announcements. |
